DESCRIPTION

Michael King fell into a common trap most service-based businesses run into: he was getting an abundance of clients but everything fell on his shoulders when it came to implementation.

He is an opthamologist who has an agency that helps other ophthalmologists grow their business and he found himself working long hours. But he wasn’t sure how to grow and scale his business so that everything didn’t depend on him.

He then saw Oli speak at Traffic and Conversion Summit which is North America’s largest marketing conference. He was taken by the topic of Oli’s keynote and was impressed that he had started, grown and scaled 5 multi-million dollar businesses.

He was impressed by how Oli has been able to create multiple “businesses within a business” that has allowed him to create enormous leverage and impact more people.

So he decided he wanted Oli’s help thanks to NextLevelBusiness to cut through the clutter and distractions and show him how he can make the difference he wants to make in a much more scalable fashion.

Michael also felt like being in NextLevelBusiness has helped him reduce distractions and eliminate things in his life that kept him from achieving his fullest potential.

TRANSCRIPT

My life before joining Next Level Scale, what we do is we serve ophthalmologists and so a lot of what I've been doing is agency work. So being able to service our agency clients and the challenge was is that once you get to be successful at that, then a lot of the implementation kind of was falling on my shoulders. And so what I've been able to learn from Oli and I'm now putting into place is how to be able to get me out of that part of our business and to be able to create a leverage programme that I'm going to then be able to sell to a much wider group of people and the serve a larger group of people as well.

I think the challenge that we all face in the world today is there's just no shortage of stuff to look at and just whether it be social media or just all the distractions, and what I really find next level scale does for me is number one on the weekly calls, being able to ask any and all questions to Oli.

And he is somebody who's been able to get the result that I want. And so I'm a big believer in modelling behaviour. And so for me, being able to learn from someone like Oli on those weekly calls really makes a huge difference for me. And then also being able to take advantage of all the resources. I have never seen somebody so giving and just so transparent with wanting the people that are part of his group to be able to succeed. Like with any programme, it's an investment and always is definitely a sizable investment. And so I think it's natural for you to at least want to consider like, Ken is investing in this programme, going to enable me to get the results that I want to have. And I think, again, it goes back to has the person who's teaching this already produced that result? And so for me, obviously financially you've got to kind of bear that, whether or not it makes sense for you and your life. But for me, it absolutely does. Simply because I now have the ability to be able to scale and get even better results as a result.

My mind has changed in the sense of, I think there's one thing that all these really helped me to do, which is to reduce distractions and eliminate things in my life that are maybe not where my mind should be focusing on. Or there's just, again, there's so many things for you to look at and to take advantage of in life and there's no shortage of opportunity. So I think that what's really shifted now for me is getting singular in focus and just taking massive action towards that one outcome that I want to have.

Yeah. What's interesting in our businesses that I've actually been able to grow it without having to a prospect or without having to be able to go forward and run paid traffic to get clients. Now that's a good thing. The challenge is it's not scalable. So I think for me right now, the journey of having absolute certainty about what I need to do to create our leverage programme, knowing that being able to back up and reverse engineer exactly what I'm going to need to do to promote that. So for me that the shift that's happened to me is now I've got just a really high degree of certainty and confidence that I'm going to be able to get the same results that that always been teaching.

Life is all about moments and you've only got a short amount of time to live on this beautiful earth. And so for me to be able to maximise and optimise every single moment that I have, and to be able to do something that's enabled me to contribute to a larger amount of people, I think it's just … I'm so excited about what's coming up simply because I now know exactly what that journey is and I've been able to take something that I've always believed that I had the capacity and ability to do that. But with the, you know, unconditional support of the group of the mastermind of Oli, that to me is the most exciting part because I can already see the end result of where I'm going. Now we just got to put in the work. And so for me, being surrounded by people that are on that same trajectory, that's what you get at Next Level Scale.
